Activities for Children

We would like to remind our members that they are always welcome at our Bethesda offices (where we can validate parking tickets) to visit us and our facilities, obtain information on the services and activities, work using our PCs, fax, internet, etc.

As you can see in the schedule, many of our activities are carried out regularly (Book Club, Opera & Ballet, Games for Kids, Yoga classes, languages, etc.) while others are repeated every two or three months, such as the Welcome Coffees and birthday celebrations for the volunteers working with us, Happy Hour for spouses looking for a job, etc. Other activities are held yearly, such as the IDB Annual Picnic, the Teen Summer Program or the recognition lunch celebrated by the end of the year to honor the volunteers working with us.

We also organize specific events such as lectures and workshops, depending on the needs and interests of our members.

Lastly, every two years we organize the Meeting of Family Associations in Country Offices. It is celebrated once in Washington D.C. and then in one of the countries in which the Bank has offices  (see news on the last Meeting of  Family Associations).
