Participate in our Art contest «The Value of Respect»

06/29/2022

The Office of Ethics, the Staff Association, and the Family Association join in
hosting this initiative to promote the value of Respect throughout the IDB Group.

The Contest seeks to promote awareness of the Code of Ethics and the values of the IDB Group among employees and their families, from the youngest members of the household to the oldest. The Contest also seeks to provide an experience in applying the ethical concept of Respect to daily life through art.

Respect is the value that allows us to appreciate others’ rights, beliefs, qualities, abilities, and achievements. At the IDB, respect means that
we treat others with dignity and show appreciation for the different perspectives contributed by the diverse members of our community.

The Contest seeks to creatively capture how IDB Group employees and family members artistically represent the value of respect, and how this value is reflected in their daily lives. Some reflection questions for consideration include: In what ways does this value manifest
itself in your family or the IDB Group community? How does respect impact employees’ lives? What does respect mean to you?

The Contest is open to children, youth, and adults, whether children or relatives, dependent or not, of IDB Group employees. Submissions will be judged based on three categories: Group 1: 3 – 6 years old; Group 2: 7- 13 years old; Group 3: 14 years and up, with no age limit.

Submissions will be accepted from Wednesday, June 29th, 2022, until
Monday, August 29th, 2022, at 5:00 pm EST (Washington, DC time).
